My Tax Return is filed, now where is my refund from the IRS?!

Want to check the status of your refund?  Use the IRS website to trace your money and figure out when to expect it.  You will need your social security number, filing status and refund amount to use the IRS tracking website.

 

Is the State of California giving out IOUs?

Actually, according to the Franchise Tax Board website they are working with the State Controller’s office to get refunds out as soon as possible now that the budget has passed. You can check on their website to see the status of your refund.
